BAHAWALPUR: Election for the slot of Bahawalpur High Court Bar Association’s (BHCBA) president ended in a tie.
The contestants were former president Nawazish Pirzada and Noor Has
san. The final counting show
ed that both contestants secured 1,016
votes. Meanwhile, Rashid Javed bagged 1,253 votes to become the bar association’s general secretary. His opponent Sheikh Far
han secured 796
votes.
